When more than one cage is present in the system, the main cage includes one port 
50-pin female connection for this purpose and it is used to connect to the first 
expansion cage. See 

Figure 6-21on page 6-23 

and 

Figure 6-28 

below. The connection is 

made with an H500-1 cable with a D-type 50-pin connector that is 55" (140 cm) long, 
supplied with the expansion cage.
