Installing the 24-Port Adapter

Enter each of the commands and the associated number shown in Table 3-3 
given to you by the service provider followed by the pound (

#

) key. If you make 

a mistake or see ERROR on the display, press 

# #

 and repeat the previous 

command. 

For example, enter 01 (you will hear dial tone) then 172*16*128*160#. This 
entry means the IP address of the adapter is 172.16.128.160. The display shows 
the digits as you enter them.

To enter a character, use the following format:

<numeric key associated with the character> + 
<the position of the character on the numeric key>

For example, 21 represents the character A and 
22 represents the character B. If the DNS domain 
is Sylantro.com, you would enter: 
11 73 93 53 21 62 81 72 63*23 63 61

The corresponding letters appear on the phone 
LCD as you enter the domain name.

The zero key (0) erases the previously entered 
character.  If the entire string is erased, 0 restarts 
the DNS Name configure menu.

1. The IP TOS command is optional. All other commands listed in Table 3-3 are required.

ENTER IP TOS

Enter the IP type of service. Recommended value 
is 188. For more information, refer to Table 3-4.

Note:

If the numbers from the service provider start with a 0, do not enter 

the prefix before entering the numbers from the service provider.
