Installing the 24-Port Adapter

This chapter describes how to install the adapter at the customer site and configure 
the IP address.

This chapter contains the following topics:

Mounting the Adapter

The adapter is designed to be rack mounted within the wiring closet at the customer 
site. 

To rack mount the chassis, follow these steps:

1.

Remove the rack-mount brackets from the shipping container.

2.

Attach the rack-mount brackets to each side of the front of the adapter using the 
two included screws (Figure 3-1).
