3) Adjustment of Moving Blade's Entering Angle
①
Loosen the two fixing screws for the blade
cam, and set the upper shaft rotary angle at
295° by using the hand pulley.
②
Turn the manual handle for trimmer
solenoid as in the figure to insert the roller
into the blade cam. Rotate the blade cam
until reaching the position where the roller
starts operating on the cam, and then tightly
fasten the two fixing screws.
③
After making adjustment of the entering
angle of the moving blade, make sure to
check whether the moving blade enters the
blade cam when the upper shaft rotary
angle is set at 295°.
10.1.2) Adjustment of Moving and Fixed Blades
Check the crossing tension of the moving and fixed
blades when the moving blade or the fixed blade is
replaced or repaired before making any adjustments.
①
Check the crossing tension
Manually move the moving blade to cut the upper
and lower threads, and check the conditions of the
cross-sections of the threads.
②
Adjust the crossing tension
Use the tension adjusting screw for the fixed
blade to adjust the crossing tension. When
adjusting the crossing tension, manually move the
moving blade, and check whether the fixed blade
crosses the moving blade in parallel from the
entry to the return to the original position.

1) If the crossing tension is too high, breakdown or abrasion might occur due to the
overload upon entry or returning. Make sure to properly adjust the crossing tension.
2) Conduct regular cleaning to remove the thread pieces around the lower thread holder
after using the embroidery machine for a time being. Otherwise, the thread pieces might
deteriorate the function of the lower thread holder.
