10.1) ADJUSTMENT OF TRIMMER
10.1.1) Adjustment of Trimmer Cam Location (Entering Angle of Moving Blade)
1) Adjustment of Trimmer Lever Stopper
①
To check the location of the trimmer lever
stopper, turn the manual handle of the
trimmer solenoid as in the figure when the
upper shaft rotary angle is 100°. In this
case, the roller should be able to enter the
blade cam, and when releasing the handle,
the roller should escape smoothly. The
trimmer level should closely contact the
stopper as in the figure.
②
To meet the conditions as set out in
①
,
loosen the tightening screw and adjust the
location of the trimmer lever stopper.

2) Adjustment of Moving Blade
①
When adjusting the entering angle of the
moving blade, first of all check whether the
moving blade is properly located.
②
When the moving blade is properly located,
the cutting point of the fixed blade is 1mm
away from the fixed blade. If the location
of the moving blade is not proper, the
separation of the upper thread and the
wrong trimming might result.
③
When the moving blade is improperly
located, loosen the upper tightening screw
for the trimmer driving lever as in the figure
and manually move the moving blade.
④
When the adjustment is completed, closely
assemble the upper tightening screw for the
trimmer driving lever when the upper and
lower trimmer driving levers smoothly
move on the trimmer lever shaft bracket
without clearance.

Make sure to turn off the power of the machine before adjusting major moving parts.
CAUTION
The initial entering angle of the moving blade refers to the starting angle of the moving
blade when the trimmer moves with the trimming signal (automatic, manual). This time, the
remaining upper thread after trimming is determined. This is the basic motion of the
trimmer operation.
