A STOP SWITCH IS MANDADORY
if running the system
WITHOUT A CHARGE REGULATOR
(Graphic 1.4.2) and in this
case the battery’s state of charge must be continuously supervised
and stopped when the battery is fully charged or if the system is
going to be left unattended for any reason.
The stop switch disconnects the
Superwind
from the battery and simultaneously shuts
down the rotor and must be installed in the line between the wind generator and the
battery as close to the wind generator as possible (see Wiring Diagrams in Graphic No.
1.4.2).
For optimum brake efficiency, the wires between the Superwind generator and the stop-
switch should be as short as possible. For appropriate conductor cross-section, see
owner’s manual.
It is mandatory to install a fuse of 40 A in the (+) wire between
the stop-switch and the battery! (Graphic No. 1.3.1)
No fuse must be installed between the stop-switch and the
Superwind generator!
