Creating a Virtual Drive Using the Advanced Method

If you choose the Advanced method for creating a virtual drive, then the next screen that
appears is the C

For the rest of the Advanced configuration, use the below procedure.

parameters:

RAID Level:

Use this setting to set your RAID level to either RAID level 0, 1 or 10.

•

Drive Security Method:

Select the drive security method you wish to use in your

configuration.

•

Select Unconfigured Drives/Drive Groups Panes:

Select the unconfigured drives

you wish to use for your virtual drive configuration, and use the A

button to move

the unconfigured drive(s) to D

pane. You can also use the R

EMOVE

button to remove them from the D

RIVE

ROUPS

pane. When finished selecting your

drives, press the C

REATE

RIVE

ROUP

button to create your drive group.

When you have set your all your parameters in this screen, press the N
