Creating a Virtual Drive Using the Simple Method
If you choose the Simple method for creating a virtual drive, then the next screen that

set the following parameters:
• RAID Level: Use this setting to set your RAID level to either RAID level 0, 1 or 10.
• Assign a Hotspare: Check this box in order to specify if you want a hotspare disk
set asside from those available.
• Use Drive Security: Check this box if you wish to assign the drive security method
upon the controller settings.
• Virtual Drives: Use this setting to set the number of virtual drives you wish to create
for your configuration.
• Capacity: Use this setting to set the capacity for your virtual drive(s). Each virtual
drive will have the same capacity.
When you have set your parameters, press the N
EXT
button to continue.
