Removal of the actuator from anti-shear backrest mechanism

Preparation

Note!

Switch off the wheelchair via remote control (power

wheelchair only).

Instructions

Note!

Suitable work area required!

•

Follow the illustrated instruction for removing the actuator
from an anti-shear backrest unit

•

Rebuild the wheelchair in reverse order once completed.

•

Use small flat screwdriver to remove C-clips and pliers to
reinstall.

Tools used

The preferred situation is that the actuator is extended to its full
length prior to dismantling.

Tightening torque for bolts is 9Nm
