Removing the backrest shell from the backrest

Preparation

Note!

Switch off the wheelchair via remote control (power

wheelchair only).

Instructions

Note!

Suitable work area required!

•

Follow the illustrated instructions for removing the
backrest shell from the backrest.

•

Rebuild the wheelchair in reverse order once completed.

Tools used

Before completing, you must first remove the back cushion as illustrated

in Fig. 6.5.1

Unscrew and remove 4 x (A) bolts from the backrest shell

Tightening for (A) bolts is 9Nm

Remove backrest shell (B) from the backrest

NOTE: The JAY 3 Backrest shell can also be removed in the same way

by removing the same 4 x (A) bolts
