Installing the Software

If the dash level is the lower than that shown in Step 1, then you must install
the latest version of the patch onto your server. Locate the patch and install it
using the

patchadd

command.

Note –

You must verify that you have the patches listed in Step 1 installed before

you can install the TTYMux patches in the next step.

2. Install the TTYMux patches.

Locate and read the file

README.1111406-02

to get the latest patch information

first, then locate each of the following patches and install them using the

patchadd

command.

■

111408-01 (point patch)

Using TTYMux

1. Halt your system and get to the ok prompt.

2. Verify that the OpenBoot PROM is version 3.14.5 or later.

At the ok prompt, enter:

Search through the output until you see the line that gives the OpenBoot PROM
(OBP) version, similar to the following:

3. At the ok prompt, enter:

4. Reboot the system.
