Netra ct Server Installation Guide • September 2002

How This Book Is Organized

Chapter 1 gives the documentation overview for this document.

Chapter 2 gives the information you’ll need to prepare your installation site for the
Netra ct server.

Chapter 3 tells how to mount the Netra ct server chassis into a rack.

Chapter 4 tells how to install a Netra ct server into the chassis.

Chapter 5 tells how to install I/O cards into the Netra ct server.

Chapter 6 tells how to connect the necessary cables to the Netra ct server.

Chapter 7 tells how to power the Netra ct server on and off.

Chapter 8 gives information on installing the Netra ct server software.

Using UNIX Commands

This document may not contain information on basic UNIX

commands and

procedures such as shutting down the system, booting the system, and configuring
