In the proceeding examples, the first device tree entry maps to Slot SB2,
Processor Instance P3. The second entry maps to the memory
management unit packaged with the processor shown in the first entry.

I/O Mapping
When mapping an I/O device tree entry to a physical component in the
system, there are up to six nodes in the device tree that must be
considered:

Node ID – 0 for standalone Sun Fire domains.
●
Schizo AID – Determines the I/O board and Schizo.
●
Schizo PCI bus offset – Determines which PCI bus: A or B.
●
Device number – Determines which slot in the I/O chassis.
●
PCI controller – Determines which I/O device drive to use.
●
Device instance – Specifies device referencing, which is used by the
kernel.
