Always contact a portion of the body with the metal chassis of the blade server, so as to

eliminate the static electricity generated when you take out or pull down the blade server

component.



Avoid the unnecessary movement back and forth.



Hold the edge of the board card and the drive.



Put the blade server components on the ground surface without the static electricity. You can

use the conductive foam pad, but can't use the packaging bag of components.



When you do not use the computer component, put it in the anti-static bag.

In order to ensure the heat dissipation and reliability of the system, confirm the following

operation: Each module slot behind the chassis shall be equipped with the module or baffle; each

module slot in the front of the chassis shall be equipped with the module or baffle; the hard disk

slot on the chassis module shall be equipped with the hot swap hard disk baffle. Replace the

failed fan module as soon as possible, so as to ensure the fan redundancy.

2.2.2

Installation of Carriage Rail



In order to prevent possible injuries, pull out all modules to reduce the weight of the blade

chassis before lifting the chassis.



Follow the installation regulation before installing the chassis.



Install the blade chassis into the cabinet before installing any CPU blade to the blade chassis.



The chassis lug in the front and back of the blade chassis is only used to facilitate you to pull

out or pull in the blade chassis from the carriage rail, but not used for the lifting and handling.

The TC6600 blade server will be equipped with the dedicated carriage rail of the blade server

when users purchase it, and the blade server may be installed in the standard 19'' cabinet by the

dedicated carriage rail of the blade server. Install the carriage rail by following the steps below

(this carriage railis the dedicated carriage rail of the blade server and can not be used for other

device) as shown in

Figure 2-6

Step 1:Loosen (don't unscrew) six screws as shown in the circle 1 in the figure, so as to loosen

the movable plate at both ends of the carriage rail.

Step 2: Adjust two movable plates at both ends of the carriage rail. The length of the carriage rail

is adjustable. Fix the carriage rail on the inner side of the installation column (angle gauge) of the

cabinet by the screw, and install it on the column (angle gauge) as shown in the circle 2 in the

figure. Three screw holes form a group, and each group of screw holes is of the 1U height. The

space of three screw holes are identical in the same group, and the space of two adjacent screw

holes in different groups is slightly less than that of the screw holes in the same group. Pay
