5 Introduction to Management Module Functions
[Note]
The management software referred in this chapter may be updated, the contents and
illustrations included in this document are for reference only and subject to the actual product
modality.
With the expansion of blade system scale, higher and higher requirements are raised up for
system manageability. In many cases, functions such as KVM switch, system status monitoring
and system policy deployment are all achieved by management module, which are mainly
comprised of monitoring system and management system of blade system.
The monitoring and management contents of management module include:
Chassis status monitoring and power up/down control.
Blade number monitoring, all blades status (whether to startup, CPU temperature and KVM,
etc.) monitoring, blade startup/shutdown control, KVM and indicator control of front panel of all
blades.
Fan status monitoring, fan policy setting.
Power status monitor, power policy deployment and power control.
Monitoring of all hard disk partition and status (temperature, voltage) of memory module.
Monitoring of all network modules ( low-speed module, high-speed module).
Set alarm threshold; when the management module monitor that temperature, voltage, rotating
speed exceed the alarm threshold, it will display alarm information on all module status pages
to ensure the safety of the whole system.
5.1 Login Management Module
TC6600 blade server provides simplified management solution. Users can log in management
module by Internet Explorer10 or higher version, Firefox or Google Chrome as long as ensuring
the network connection between management host and blade server management module. Input
IP address of management module to be logged in in the address bar of browser, and press Enter
to log in management module for management.
The initial settings of Sugon blade system management module are as follows:
Initial IP: 10.0.0.10
Initial user name (administrator): admin
Initial password (administrator): admin
Step 1: Open the browser.
Step 2:Input IP address of management module in the address bar to log in the management
module (if the user applies domain name for the management module, they can also input it in the
