2.2 Disassembly of Product Chassis and Main Components
This section will introduce the installation steps and considerations of the TC6600 blade server of
Sugon. Please install the TC6600 blade server of Sugon in accordance with the requirement.
2.2.1
Safety Measures
The computer components and circuit boards are easily damaged by the static electricity. It is
dangerous to operate in the internal computer is when the power is connected. Follow the
simple instructions below to prevent your computer from damage and protect your own safety.
When the blade server operates, the maximum AC input current of the single power may be up
to 10A. Pay attention to selecting your power supply lines, so as to prevent accidents. For
example, it may damage your power supply lines and the power module of the blade server
due to the too high operating current when you insert multiple power modules of one blade
server into the terminal block with the rated current 10A.
It is necessary to unplug the power plug from the AC power socket before you execute related
assembly/disassembly operation in this manual at any time. Otherwise, it may cause injury or
equipment damage.
All operations shall be performed on the electrostatic discharge (ESD) work bench for the
components of the blade server are very sensitive to the electrostatic discharge (ESD). If the
required operating environment is not met, you can minimize the hazard of electrostatic discharge
(ESD) in the following ways.
Put on the anti-static wrist strap, and connect it to the metal chassis surface of the blade
server.
Touch the metal part of the blade server chassis before you contact the blade server
