Terminologies Explanation

SMP
The full name of SMP is Symmetrical Multi-Processing. It means that a computer
assembles a set of CPU(multi CPU), all CPU share with memorysubsystem and
bus structure. System symmetrically distributes task queues on several CPUs, thus
greatly improving data processing capacity of the whole system. All processors can
equally access memory, I/O and external interrupt. Within the SMP, all CPUs share
the system resources, thus the working load can be evenly distributed to all
available CPUs.
