MODEL UW-24

Electronic Control System

Figure 2-38.  “bl” Displayed at Left:  Index is Blank, no Temperature Logged Yet

(Only possible within first 11 days of unit operation, or after new control board is installed during service)

Temperature Log Event Alerts

The diagrams below illustrate possible event alerts that may be observed while toggling through readings in
Temperature Log Recall Mode.  (See Figures 2-38 through 2-41)

Figure 2-39.  Alarm Icon Illuminates:  Power Failure / Interruption During that Index Period

Figure 2-40.  Service Icon Illuminates:  Unit was switched OFF During that Index by Pressing POWER Key

Figure 2-41.  Double Dashes ( - - ) Displayed Instead of Temperature for Several Consecutive Index Periods :

Bad EEPROM on Control Board.  Board Must be Replaced

IMPORTANT TEMPERATURE LOG NOTES:

• If the unit was in Showroom Mode during any of the 64 indexes, average temperatures will continue to be logged.

No event indicator will appear with these temperatures.

• If the unit was switched OFF by pressing the POWER key during any of the 64 indexes and there was still AC

power supplied to the unit, the average temperatures will continue to be logged.  This means temperatures would
be expected to rise and the service icon would be present in all indexes in which the unit was switched OFF.

• Temperature Log Recall Mode will end three seconds after the last key stroke.
