WINDSHIELD WIPERS
1 INT/AUTO: Push the wiper
control lever down one
position for intermittent, or
AUTO operation (if
equipped). Rotate the dial to
adjust to adjust the
intermittent wiper timing. If
equipped, when the wiper
control lever is in the “AUTO”
position, the wipers operate
automatically when the
rain/light sensor detects rain.
The system automatically
adjusts wiper timing in
accordance with rain volume and vehicle speed. Rotate the dial to adjust the
sensitivity of the sensor.
NOTE: Make sure to turn off this function before entering an automatic car wash.
2 Low Speed: Push the wiper control lever down two positions for low speed wiper
operation.
3 High Speed: Push the wiper control lever down three positions for high speed wiper
operation.
4 Mist: Push the wiper up from the OFF position for a single wipe.
5 Windshield Washer: Pull the lever toward you to wash the windshield. The washer
will spray and the wipers will operate while you pull the lever.
REAR-VISION CAMERA WASHER (if equipped)
To help keep your vision clear,
your Subaru comes equipped
with a Rear-vision Camera
Washer. To clean the Rear-vision
Camera, simply push the
windshield wiper lever forward.
The washer operates to clean the
rear-vision camera and camera for
the Smart Rear View Mirror, if
equipped.
