10 Fan Speed Control: Operate the switch up to increase or down to decrease fan
speed.
11 Driver’s Temperature Control: Operate the switch up to increase temperature and
down to decrease temperature
12 Rear Window Defogger Switch: Press this switch to turn on the rear window and
outside mirror defogger. It will automatically turn off after a period of time.
13 Defroster Switch: Press this switch to defrost or dehumidify the windshield and front
door windows. Set the outside/recirculated air mode switch to outside air mode if the
recirculated air mode is being used (it may switch automatically). To return to the
previous mode, press the windshield defogger switch again when the windshield is
defogged.
Remote Air Conditioning System
The remote air conditioning system uses electrical energy stored in
the traction battery and allows the air conditioning to be operated
by remote control. Press and hold the A/C button on the access key
fob to operate the system. The HVAC will operate at the at the last
settings it was left on. The system operates when the power switch
is OFF and all doors and the motor compartment hood are closed.
The system automatically deactivates after about 20 minutes. To
cancel operation, press the A/C button twice or unlock and open a
door.
If the remote air conditioning system is used while the charging
cable is connected, the system will use electricity from the external
power source, and charging will be conducted automatically after
the remote air conditioning system is stopped.
