REGISTERING A USER PROFILE
When you create an account in the Solterra Connect app, you also create a profile as part
of the account. A profile is a cloud-stored collection of your select driver preferences and
settings, from the Solterra Connect app and your Solterra, giving you a more personalized
Subaru experience. You can save the driving position, air conditioning, multimedia, and
various other settings. There is no need to manage any overarching list of preferences and
settings; they are seamlessly stored/updated in the cloud when you adjust any preference
or setting in your Solterra or in the Solterra Connect app. For added convenience, other
Solterra Connect app users, such as family or friends, can create an account/profile for
easy use, without needing to own the vehicle. There is no need to change each other’s
settings if multiple drivers use the vehicle.
NOTE: An active Drive Connect subscription is required to have a Driver Profile.
The first registered profile acts as the “primary driver” profile. The primary driver may
enable/manage trial or subscriptions and payments, receive vehicle health reports, and
operate Remote Connect commands or designate them to others, in addition to other
important settings. To register a profile for the first time, follow these steps:
