Check the operation of the safety catches. With the lift in the highest position, one 
person should operate the <unlock> button on the control box, while another should 
check that the safety catch moves at the lifting devices.

Warning

w

Any hose which shows signs of age, damage, or distress must be replaced at once. 
Hydraulic hoses are under very high pressure, and failure or malfunction could result 
in personal injury and failure of hydraulic components. Consult your authorized 
representative for proper fittings, hoses, or repairs.

7.2.3

Annual maintenance

The user should have the vehicle lift inspected annually. A maintenance contract can 
be arranged with the service department for this annual inspection. If no 
maintenance contract is arranged, the user should arrange for an annual inspection 
and maintenance service himself.

This inspection is recorded in the inspection checklist.

The following activities must be carried out:

1.

Check as prescribed under daily and monthly (see operator manual).

2.

Check the oil level (see 

Table 7.2 on page 64

). 

With the vehicle lift in the lowest position, the oil level in the tank of the hydraulic unit 
should be above the line indicating the minimum level.

3.

When the oil level is too low, always carry out the following oil leakage checks.

4.

Check the hydraulic system for leakage. If the vehicle lift descends more than 1/4" 
(6 mm) every hour, the system should be checked for external leakage (hoses, 
couplings) and internal leakage (valves). Defective parts must be replaced.

5.

Check all protection in accordance with chapter 

5 ’Taking into operation’ on page 55

.

6.

Check that the anchor bolt torque is in accordance with the data given in 

4.3 

’Securing’ on page 32

.

7.

Check that the adjustment of the lock catch conforms to the specifications as 
described in section 

5.2 ’Locking mechanism’ on page 55

.

8.

Carry out a general check for damage. Where any construction parts show signs of 
crack formation, such parts must be replaced. Damaged parts which can cause 
dangerous situations to occur must be repaired or replaced immediately.

9.

Carry out lubrication activities as prescribed in section 

7.3.1

.

10.

The LED lighting fixture contains a seal of PUR480. Inspect this seal every year for 
any degradation of properties. Replace the lighting fixture if degradation is found.
