1_SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the battery from the charger
base of the grinder before changing any
accessory, performing a service or carrying out
maintenance.
Keep the machine and battery in a good
condition. Check the alignment of the moving
parts on a regular basis.
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use an
authorized service agent and parts recommended
by the manufacturer. Non-authorized parts may
be hazardous and invalidate the guarantee.
Before installing the battery, make sure that the
grinding machine is switched off.
Keep the machine, battery and charger duly
serviced for a better and safer performance.
Use suitable clothing for working. Never use
neckties, watches, rings and loose pieces of
jewelry and remind using a cap when necessary.
Review your workplace and keep it orderly before
using the grinder.
Check that the battery has been correctly inserted
into the handle of the machine.
Make sure that the machine has no loose or
wrongly adjusted pieces, before turning it on.
Avoid accidental starting; always keep the
machine in the “OFF” position.
Protect your eyes with safety goggles
(conventional eye-glasses are not sufficient).
Make sure that the floor is not slippery; use safety
shoes or boots.
Take into account that this grinder must be
connected to the electric grid.
Keep children and unauthorized persons out of
the working area.
Do not use the machine where there are liquids,
solids or gases, such as solvents for paints, etc.
Do not allow children to use the machine.
Do not operate your grinder if any piece is
lacking, as this mat cause a failure and/or a
possible injury.
Do not hold the work piece in your hand without
protection (use gloves).
Do not use the machine with your finger on the
start switch.
Keep the button of the release trigger in its locked
position. Do not use the machine for jobs for
which it has been designed.
Do not work with the grinder under the influence
of alcohol, drugs or inebriating medicaments.
Do not wet the machine, battery or charger, and
do not use it in humid or wet areas. Keep the
grinder, battery and charger at a safe, dry, child-
proof location, where the temperature does not
rise over 40ºC.
2_INSTRUCTIONS FOR START-UP
Before adjusting or checking the tool, make sure
that it is switched off and that the battery has
been extracted.
PLACING OR FIXING THE TOOL
Read these hazard alerts and instructions
entirely.
If you do not comply with the
following hazard alerts and instructions, this
may cause, among other things, fire and/or severe
injury.
Deploy the flap with the image of the apparatus
and keep it open while you are reading the
handling instructions.
Regulatory use
The apparatus is aimed to cutting and grinding
stone and metal surfaces with an appropriate disk
of a diameter of 115 mm.
Installation or extraction of the battery cartridge
Always switch off the tool before inserting or
extracting the battery cartridge.
To extract the battery cartridge, remove it from
the tool at the same time as sliding the buttons
located at the sides of the cartridge.
To insert the battery cartridge, align the flaps
located at the battery cartridge with the slot of
the compartment and insert it. Insert it completely
until the gets firmly fastened and becomes
locked with a click. Otherwise, the cartridge may
accidentally get loose from the tool and cause
injuries to the user or any other person staying
nearby.
Do not force the battery cartridge to enter. If it
does not enter smoothly, this means that you are
not installing it correctly.
Shaft lock (Figs. 3)
Never actuate the shaft lock 3 when the
shaft is moving, as otherwise the tool could
get damaged.
When installing or extracting accessories,
press the shaft lock 3 to avoid the spindle 9 to
rotate.
Operation of the switch (Fig. 1)
Before inserting the battery cartridge 2
into the tool, always make sure that the
sliding switch 1 works properly.
To start the machine, Touch the button 1b and at
the same time the trigger press 1.
To stop the tool, release the trigger 1.
