Update of Peak Values
Peak values are updated only when the engine speed has exceeded its Gate
RPM value for at least one second .
The Gate RPM value is the level of RPM at which the system updates the peak
values. This is to prevent abnormal peak values from being recorded when, for
example, the engine is either not running, is idling or is warming up.
The Gate RPM value must be exceeded by at least one second to allow the
values to stabilise. Blipping the engine may not be enough to update the peak
values.
