: Maintenance and Performance Checks

Compatibility to Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide

(VHP)

The following chemicals have been shown to be acceptable for use with the MiniCapt
Mobile Microbial Air Sampler:

Compatibility to Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP)

Particle Measuring Systems has performed a multi-cycle study to investigate the
compatibility of the MiniCapt Mobile instrument under typical VHP cycle conditions
with subsequent analysis of the instrument.

Based on the results of the functional, visual, qualification and calibrations tests, we
can conclude that the instrument MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Air Sampler is compatible
under typical user conditions, if kept in “Off-Mode” inside a VHP decontaminated
environment. This is applicable to all models of the MiniCapt Mobile Series (25, 50 &
100 LPM) taking into consideration that they are identical in construction.

WARNING

Disconnect the power cord from its power source.

The sample probe must be capped before the instrument is sterilized by means of
liquid, spray, or mist. Turn the pump off before capping the sample probe.

NOTE:

Check the plate height adjustment after cleaning to ensure it is still correct

The MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Air Sampler is housed in a polycarbonate enclosure and
should provide many years of trouble-free performance. Periodically it may be helpful
to wipe the enclosure with a clean, lint-free cloth moistened with cleanser.
