Chapter 5 – Cleaning Tape Drives

Check the Drive Cleaning Status
Use the following steps to check the cleaning status of a drive.
1.
Select
Configuration > Drives
. The Drives screen displays (Figure 5-1).
2.
Select
Detail
next to the drive you want to check. The Drive Details screen displays
(Figure 5-2).
If the Cleaning Status indicates
Drive Cleaning Required
continue with the cleaning
procedure described in this chapter.
