8.9. Installation of MSD

Installation of Manual Switch Disconnector (MSD) shall be conducted only after the installation of DC power and control
cabling in all B-Cabs.

1.  Ensure the isolation switch QS is in OFF state, refer to Figure 47.
2.  Open the right-hand side battery cabinet enclosure.
3.  Install the provided four MSD upper covers on the panel of each module box per the following procedure.

Note: the battery modules in the cabinet are shipped with the MSD covers uninstalled as a safety precaution.
