Check that no obstacle is in the way of the
loader motion.
Check fuse F3.
Check the function of the switches B30 and
B31.

Reference is too slow Maximum permitted time of move to
reference exceeded (
→ max. 10 s,
← max. 90 s, moment reduction
max. 10 s).
Check the function of the switch B33.

Calibration is too slow
Maximum permitted time of flag
motion exceeded in calibration of
the material switch B34
(
→ max. 90 s, ← max. 20 s).
Check the value of the parameter #103.
Check that no obstacle is in the way of the
flag in forward and back motion.

Bar test is too slow Maximum permitted time of the
pusher motion exceeded in
measurement of the bar length
(max. 16 s). Check the value of the parameter #300.
Probably small feeding force is set.

New bar is too slow Maximum permitted time of flag
forward motion exceeded in
inserting the new bar in the lathe
spindle (max. 40 s). Check the bar straightness. The bar can
seize in the spindle insert, because it may
be curved.
Check that the bar goes well into the
clamping device of the lathe.
Check the value of the parameter #300.
Check the value of the parameter #103.

Ejection is too slow Maximum permitted time of
controlled ejection of the rest of the
bar exceeded (max. 8 s). This may
happen in seizure of the rest of the
bar in the spindle or in wrong
ejection control in the lathe. Check that the rest of the bar can freely be
pushed from the spindle.
After sign-off of the ejection M-code it is
necessary to eject the rest in max. 8 s.
Check correct barfeeder operation in the
lathe program in course of controlled
ejection. The pusher must be allowed to go
to position #102 + 3.5 mm.

Channel is too low Channel is in a position which does
not enable loader turning Move the channel into the position

Check the function of switch B36.

Error of switches B30,
B31 Both switches of the loader position
were activated at the same time. Check the function of switches B30 and
B31. They never can be active
simultaneously.

Flag position fault The barfeeder lost flag position
data. The loader is neither in lower
limit nor in upper limit position. At
the same time the flag is not in the
back limit position. Check the function of switches B30, B31
and B33. At least one of them must be
active.
If the loading mechanism is in an
intermediate position and the flag is not
back, move the flag by hand to its back
limit position.
