Routine maintenance
Periodically check the status of the gasket placed around the opening of the oven. It
guarantees the correct functioning of the oven. Keep this gasket clean avoiding using
abrasive substances or objects. If the gasket is damaged, contact the nearest after-sales
technical assistance centre.
■
Error signals
In case of malfunctioning of the temperature probe, the display will show the writing
“PT1000 FAILURE”.
This indicates the probe is to be replaced and that your oven
cannot work until its replacement. For its replacement contact an authorised after-sales
technical assistance centre.
■
Cleaning the surfaces
The enamelled or stainless steel parts must be cautiously treated. Use water or specific
products, then accurately drying with a soft cloth
. Do not use abrasive products.
In
case of tough deposits on enamelled parts, use a plastic sponge or similar, soaked in hot
water and vinegar. It can become very difficult to remove food residues or stains from
oils, sugars, fats, etc. if they are not immediately removed after having terminated using
the oven. It will make removing them easier if the internal parts of the oven are cleaned
with the same still warm. Due to an increasing presence of new products on the market it
is not possible to establish a list of items suitable for cleaning this device. Accurately
read the manufacturer instructions to verify the possible use of the detergent.
■
Removal of the oven door
To remove and insert the oven door, follow the instructions below.
Fully open the oven door. Lift the hinge hook and insert it in the locking support on both
hinges, see figure (in certain models remove a small rod or a 3mm nail).
This lock the
hinge in open position. Grip the door from the sides downwards using both hands. Lift
the door of a few centimetres (the spring will resist due to the locking of the hinge).
When the door is sufficiently lifted, it will be possible to remove the hinges from their
seats. Pull the door towards you to remove the hinges from the openings of the oven
frame.
