Q
UICK GUIDE TO SOLVING PROBLEMS
How does muscle stimulation technology work?
SLENDERTONE ABS
6 uses electronic muscle stimulation (EMS). This technology has been used in
hospitals and by physical therapists for over 60 years. Here is a summary of how EMS
technology works. The patented
SLENDERTONE
3-pad design ensures that all of the abdominal
muscles contract and not only those directly under the GelPads.
SLENDERTONE ABS
6 has all the components of an effective abdominal toner.
1.
Your product has 21µC (micro coulombs) of toning power. This allows you to generate
strong, effective muscle contractions.
2.
Your
SLENDERTONE ABS
6 uses large, medical-grade GelPads. These ensure that your workout is
comfortable.
3.
The toning belt’s EMS technology has been clinically tested and is proven to give you
firmer, stronger, more toned abdominal muscles in 6-8 weeks.
4.
Your product has seven programs which cater to a whole range of training levels from the
beginner to advanced users.
NOTE
:
Your toning belt will not help you lose weight. For this you need to do some form of
cardiovascular exercise e.g. walking, cycling, swimming, jogging. However using your toning
belt regularly will give you stronger, firmer, and more toned abs.

ARING FOR YOUR CONTROLLER
Your controller should not be allowed to get wet or be left in excessive sunlight. It may be
cleaned regularly using a soft cloth, lightly dampened in soapy water. Do not allow the interior
of your controller to become wet. Do not use detergents, alcohol, spray aerosols or strong
solvents on your controller.
Access to the interior of the controller is not required for maintenance purposes.
If your controller is damaged, you should not use it but should return it to
SLENDERTONE
or your
local distributor for replacement or repair. Repairs, service and modifications may not be carried
out by anyone other than qualified service personnel authorised by
SLENDERTONE
.

Problem
Display doesn’t come on.
No signal from the controller
The display is on but there
is no signal. The battery
symbol is flashing
The symbol has
appeared on the display*
and/or the controller is
beeping
Unpleasant feeling beneath
the GelPads
The contractions are very
weak even when the toning
intensity is high
“Err” appears on the display
* The symbol always appears in conjunction with the left/ right intensity indicators. If the left
indicator appears, there is a problem with the left GelPad, the right indicator acknowledges a
problem with the right GelPad and if both indicators appear there is a problem with the either
the middle pad or all three GelPads.
Step 1
Signals are sent
between the GelPads
Step 2
The signals switch on
the nerves which control
the abdominal muscles.
Step 3
The nerves, in turn, cause
your muscles to contract
and relax rhythmically.
