OPERATION

C AU TION
•
Never add pre-ground coffee w hen the machine
is off in order to avoid it spreading through the
inside of the machine and making it dirty.
This could damage the appliance.
•
Never use more than 1 level measure or it
could dirty the inside of the coffee machine or
block the funnel.
NOTE
If you use pre-ground coffee, you can only make
one cup of coffee at a time.

Repeat Press

Open the cover and the pre-ground door.

Make sure the funnel is not blocked, then add
one level measure of pre-ground coffee.

Place a cup under the coffee spouts.

Then select your required coffee
(ESPRESSO, COFFEE, LONG etc.) from the
homepage.

Preparation begins and the image of the
selected beverage appears on the display,
together w ith a progress bar w hich gradually
fills as preparation progresses.
NOTE
•
While the machine is making coffee, delivery
can be interrupted at any time by pressing
.
•
As soon as delivery has ended, to increase
the quantity of coffee in the cup, j ust press
: once the desired quantity is reached,
press
.
Once the coffee has been made, the appliance is
ready to make the next beverage.

•
Making LONG coffee : Halfw ay through

Ad j u s t i n g t h e c o f f e e m i l l
The coffee mill should not require adj usting, at least
initially, because it has already been set by default
in order to prepare coffee correctly. How ever, if after
making the first few coffees you find that the coffee is
either too w eak and not creamy enough or delivery is
too slow (a drop at a time), this can be corrected by
adj usting the grinding adj ustment dial.
NOTE
The grinding adj ustment dial must only be turned
w hen the coffee mill is in operation during the
initial phase of coffee preparation.
If the coffee comes out too slow ly
or does not come out at all, a
message w ill be show n GROUND
TOO FINE. ADJU ST GRIND
LEVEL, turn the coffee mill dial
one or tw o clicks clockw ise.
For fuller bodied creamier coffee,
turn one click anticlockw ise
tow ards 1 (do not turn more than
one click at a time otherw ise the
coffee could come out one drop a
drop at a time).
Ti p s f o r a h o t t e r c o f f e e
For hotter coffee, it is recommended to:
•
carry out a rinse cycle by selecting the " Rinsing"
function in the settings menu. (paragraph “Rinsing”)
•
w arm the cups w ith hot w ater.
(using the hot w ater function, see section “hot w ater
supply”);
•
increase the coffee temperature in the settings
menu. (see section “Coffee temperature”).
