Separate the vehicle’s battery from the on-board power supply

or

Interrupt the respective power circuit by removing the fuse.

2.

Then insert the wire on the DTCO 1381 into the connection 
plug

Reconnect vehicle battery.

or

Re-insert the fuses.

Observe the guidelines in EN 50020 and the connection specifica-
tions of the DTCO 1381for the sizing of the fuse
