3.2 Description of the Blocks
3.2.1 Data Block (DB)
Following a system start, there are 120 DBs each containing
256 DWs present in the ES 030-K RAM (DB1 - DB120).
These DBs can be utilised by the user program without having
been parameterized in the program (e.g. as input buffer for
MOBY, bar code, etc.). While receiving data, block limits can be
exceeded; i.e. with a telegram length of more than 512 byte
user data, the user data will automatically be written into the
following DB. The data blocks which have been parameterized
in the user program, are transferred into RAM after system
start; they may not exceed 256 data words.
The data block 1 up to DW 99 is allocated to the system;
beginning with DW 100 it can be utilised by the user. The
allocation for data block DB1 is described in the following.
