1.1

Field of Application

The ES 030-K Acquisition Station is used in various branches

of industry. Here, it can perform a diversified range of tasks:

Controlling by means of digital inputs and outputs

Acquisition of user data via the function keys on numeric or

alphanumeric keyboards

User-friendly operation

Display of masks and user data on display

Identification by means of MOBY or bar code

Control of lower or higher level systems via serial interface

Connection to PROFIBUSDP field bus system

Each slot option consists of a hardware module that requires one slot in the ES 030.

** In a special configuration, the options expansion serial interface and 16 digital inputs can be lead out through 

connector 2.

*** PROFIBUS-DP can be connected to connector 3 or connector 4 instead. Connector 4 is preferred.

The equipment options are shown in this illustration.
