3.4.1
Keyboard
The assignment of the keyboard can be freely parameterized.
The parameters must be stored in DB 1 and DW 11 to DW 40.
The definition of the normal level of the keyboard is stored in
the DL. The definition of the keys with switched on key switch
(key in horizontal position) is stored in the respective DR.
The code FFH assigns
“
no key function".
Assignment of the keys to the data word of DB 1 and the key
lamps to the outputs.

keys can be illuminated.

Q 11.5
On illuminated keys DR 40 and DL 40 as well as Q11.5 are not
required. This position is occupied by the key switch. On
membrane keyboards the key switch is positioned outside the
keyboard field, and the key can therefore be parameterized
using DR 40 and DL 40 as well as Q11.5.
The keyboard can be partitioned at will into
- alphanumeric
keys
- function
keys
- display function keys
The partitioning is done by the user by parameterization of
DB 1, DW 11 ... DW 40 with the corresponding hexadecimal
codes.
Alphanumeric Keys
The alphanumeric character (20H - 5FH), (00H - 1FH for
Cyrillic characters, see Chapter 8.6) corresponding to each
key must be stored in the respective data byte.
In order to enable the keyboard for the display input, the flag
F10.0 must be set to 1 and F10.1 to 0. When a key with
alphanumeric parameterization is pressed, the parameterized
character is written into the cursor position on the display and
into the original text in the data block.
After pressing the DUE key, the alphanumeric input will be
disabled, F10.0 will be reset, and F10.1 will be set. Setting of
F10.1 and resetting of F10.0 can also be done through the user
program.
It is not possible to enter lower case alphanumeric letters.
Function Keys
The assignment of the function keys is defined with 60H - 7EH
in DB1, DW 11 - 40.
The parameterized code of the function keys that have been
pressed is entered into FY25 by the system (one time for the
duration that the key is pressed). The user must clear FY 25
before a new code can be entered the next time a key is
pressed.
While the key is being pressed, the function key code is
entered into flag byte 9.

and F10.1 to
“

The display function keys are not sent on to the user. The
remaining hexadecimal codes which have not been
described, are not used.
Key Switch
The position of the key switch is stored in flag F10.7. Key switch
vertical F10.7=0, key switch horizontal F10.7 = 1.
Keyboard Illumination
The display lamps in the keyboard with illuminated keys can
be addressed via outputs Q 8.0 to Q 11.4; on membrane
keyboards for 30 LEDs via Q 8.0 to Q 11.5.
