Display
The display consists of 2 lines of 20 characters each
(fluorescent display), of 2 lines of 24 characters each (LCD
display), or of 4 lines of 20 characters each.
The LCD display has a built-in illumination. It can be switched
on for one minute with the keyboard or by setting F 11.7
(re-triggerable). At the end of the cycle, F 11.7 will be reset by
the system.
The display text will be stored in a data block by the user.
Supply of DB
The display text can consist of fixed text and input fields. Fixed
text consists of alphanumeric characters (20H - 5FH), (00H -
1FH for Cyrillic characters). On the input fields, alphanumeric
characters are used as pre-setting. However, the respective
bit 2
7
must be set in the character (thus, A0H - DFH and
80H - 9FH).

Outputting text on the display is initiated by setting flag 11.0.
After the initiation with flag 11.0, the text will be output and
acknowledged within 30 ms, independent of the user program
cycle. After the output has been completed, the system will
reset F11.0, and set F11.1.
Inputs can be entered into the input fields by using the
alphanumeric keys. Prior to this, keyboard input must have
been enabled by setting F 10.0. When using the LCD display
with 4 lines x 20 characters, F 11.4 must be set once after
voltage return.
After a text has been output and the keyboard has been
enabled, the cursor is always positioned on the first character
in the first input field.
The cursor can be positioned within an input field using the
keyboard codes EC, ED and EE.

Digital Inputs/Outputs
3.4.3.1 Digital Inputs/Outputs
The digital input/output can be accessed via input/output 0.0
to max. 2.7.
The maximum expansion is described in Chapter 1.2.2.7.
The addresses of the DI/DQ will be set by jumpers during the
initial startup (see chapter 5.3.5) (basic configuration on the ES
030-K corresponds to address 0).
