Reader status and access status
The camera status indicates the current status of the camera.
Table 8-1 Camera status
Icon Description
Start The camera has the "Start" status. This means that the device is currently in
processing mode (RUN).
Stop The camera has the "Stop" status. This means that the device is currently
neither in processing mode nor in productive operation. The device is not
operating (STOP).
Edit The camera has the "Edit" status. This means the device is currently in edit
mode and changes can be made to the configuration.
The access status indicates the status of the WBM at the current time.

Icon Description
Red padlock Operation is not possible in the "Read only" status because the WBM of an‐
other PC has control of the camera.
Blue padlock The logged-in user is not authorized to change settings.
Red-gray padlock DISA is active. Operation is not possible in this status because an automation
system has control of the camera. Only users with "Take control" rights are
permitted to take over control of the camera from the automation system.
Green padlock The currently logged-in user has taken over control of the camera. The con‐
nected controller cannot access the camera for this reason.
Login area
If user management is activated ("Settings" → "User management"), you must log in here in
order to make changes in the WBM. Your user name is displayed as soon as you are logged in. You
can also log out in this area.
Help
Click the question mark icon "?" to call up the online help for the WBM. The help is context-
sensitive. The help page for the menu in which you are currently working is automatically
displayed.
