Assignment of rights
In this group, you specify which user role is assigned which rights in the "User management"
menu. Among other things, the rights assigned to the roles specify which activities the
respective role can execute in the WBM. Users with the "Administrator" authorization are the
only users who can assign rights. Rights are assigned by selecting the check boxes in the table
for the relevant role.

This setting allows users to take over control of the optical reader from
the controller or the automation system.

Libraries Create or change library elements in the "Libraries" menu.

System Settings in the "System" menu and reset of all statistical information in
processing mode or in the "Diagnostics" menu
View security relevant events Display security relevant events in the diagnostics data records and
download the Auditlog files in the "Diagnostics" menu

Blocked tasks are indicated by a padlock
If one or more tasks are blocked for a user, this is indicated by a "padlock" icon on the relevant
pages.
Note
Meaning of "Take control"
"Take control" means that the logged-in user takes over control of the camera. It is then no longer
possible to execute functions requiring the DISA bit ("Change program" and "Save program") via
an automation system.
If the camera is not controlled by an automation system, all other tasks (setup, processing,
information and stop) can always be selected. In this case, "DISA" is not set.
Advanced access
Advanced diagnostics and service functions can be activated for Siemens Support by selecting
the "Allow advanced access" check box. Access can only be activated by a logged-in user with
"Administrator" authorization and is deactivated in the factory settings.
