Extended Read-Write Mode
This mode enables the device to read or write data quantities larger than 24 bytes in
combination with the corresponding function block. This mode also contains relevant
diagnostic data: RSSI, transmitting power, coding.
The logic of the device as well as the function block handle the fragmentation of larger
amounts of data into several process data cycles. This makes it possible to use the
device to transmit even larger amounts of data via IO-Link from or to the transponder.
8.3.3
Error codes
In the read or write process, the device shows Error Codes in the process data.
The codes can be read out via the PLC or using the SOPAS ET configuration software.
