Once assembly is complete, test run the machine to
ensure it is properly connected to power and safety
components are functioning properly.
If you find an unusual problem during the test run,
immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from power,
and fix the problem BEFORE operating the machine again.

section of this
manual can help.

Test.Run
To.test.run.the.machine,.do.these.steps:
1. Clear all setup tools away from machine.
2. Insert removable key into paddle switch (see Figure.
17
) and connect machine to power supply.
3.
Turn machine ON , verify motor operation, then turn
machine OFF .
The motor should run smoothly and without unusual
noises.
4.
Remove paddle switch key.
5.
Try to start machine with paddle switch. The
machine should not start.
— If machine does not start, the switch disabling
feature is working as designed.
— If machine does start, immediately stop the
machine. The switch disabling feature is not
working correctly. This safety feature must
work properly before proceeding with regular
operations. Call Tech Support for help.

After approximately 16 hours of operation, adjust
drive belt tension as instructed in Replacing/
Tensioning.Belt
on

IMPORTANT:
During this first 16 hours, the belt will
stretch and seat into the pulley groove. After this
time, you must re-tension the belt to avoid slippage
and burn out.
The Test Run consists of verifying the following: 1) The
motor powers up and runs correctly, and 2) the switch
disabling key disables the switch properly.
