Periodic maintenance

Remove the knob screw of the

spittoon unit and remove the

spittoon unit.

Spittoon unit

Knob screw

Note

The spittoon unit contains cleaning liquid. Be careful not to spill it.

–

Soak the cleaning stick in the cap

cleaning liquid.

Note

Do not soak the cleaning stick that you used for cleaning in the cap cleaning
liquid bottle. The cap cleaning liquid will be contaminated.

–

Move the carriage manually to the

position where the spittoon unit

was detached, and clean the right

and left sides of the top section

of the eight heads below the

carriage, using a cleaning stick.
