Exterior

Clean the housing with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Lid

Clean the lid (2) and the viewing window (1) with a damp cloth. 

A mild cleaning solution can be used for serious dirt. 

For easy cleaning remove the lid. Open the lid and bring it into 

a vertical position. Take off the lid by pulling it upwards (see 

figure).
