4.3 Before first use
1. Open the lid by pressing the unlock button (12).
2. T ake out the frying basket (14) by pressing the unlock

button (11) and by lifting the handle of the frying basket

(10) into a horizontal position.

3. Clean the frying basket (14) with warm water and a mild

detergent.

4.   Clean the pot (13) and wipe it out with a soft damp cloth.
5.  Thoroughly dry the frying basket (14) and pot (13).
6.   Insert the lid (2) with viewing window (1) in case it is not yet

mounted.

7. Insert the frying basket (14) into the pot (13). Press down

the handle of the frying basket (10) into a vertical position

until it clicks.

8. The deep fryer is now ready for operation.
