5.5 After deep frying
As soon as the deep frying process is over:
1. Set the temperature control knob (8) onto position ‘0’.
2. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
3. Let the deep fryer and fat / oil cool down.
4. Open the lid (2) by pressing the unlock button (12).
5. Take out the frying basket (14) by pressing the unlock
button (11) and lifting the handle (11) into a horizontal
position.
6. If necessary remove the fat / oil from the pot (13).
– Deep frying fat:
The fat can be kept in the deep fryer once cooled down.
Ensure that the deep fryer is stored in a cool place. If the
fat is substantiated before the next deep frying process
take out the hard fat from the pot (13) and melt it in a
separate pot on the stove.
– Deep frying oil:
Let the oil cool down before you remove it from the pot
(13). If you want to re-use the oil you must filter the oil
with a sieve or similar. After filtering the oil pour it into a
suitable container and store it in a cool and dark place.
7. Never dispose the fat / oil by pouring it into the toilet or into
the drain. This will block the pipeline. Fill the used fat / oil
into a plastic bag and dispose it with the household garbage.
