4 PREPARING THE DEVICE

4.1 Unpack
1.   Carefully unpack the device. Follow the instructions for 

disposal of packaging materials in chapter 9 – DISPOSAL.

2   The device may be protected for transport with transport 

locks. Remove thesecompletely. Do not use aggressive 

cleaners to remove remains of the transport locks.

3.   Before connecting the device, check that the power cord 

and the device itself have no damages.

4.   Check if content comprises all equipment parts, see  

chapter 2 – CONTENT.

5.   Make sure that the device is disconnected from the power 

supply.

 

 

4.2 Selection of suitable location
Set up the device in a suitable place:
• near a safety socket with 10 A minimum protection
• horizontal and vibration-free
• heat resistant
• standing surface does not react with rubber feet
• with a minimum distance of 10 cm to all sides
•  with an appropriate distance to extreme sources of heat (>1m)
