When you make changes to printing parameters on the

Print Setup

screen, Cura will

retain those changes with that profile until you “commit” them. When you next change profiles,
Cura will know what changes you’ve made since you last selected the current profile and it will
allow you to update the profile with your changes, or discard them.

That’s pretty much all there is to profile management in Cura. It’s a nice and

straightforward system.

Now that you’ve got a handle on how Cura works with profiles, let’s move on to what

actually goes in to those profiles!
