2B. Making and Answering Calls

Call from Contacts

You can place calls directly from your Contacts list
using either of the following procedures.

1.

Press

and touch

.

2.

Touch the contact’s name you want to call to view
its details, then touch to place a call.

– or –

Touch the contact’s picture icon, then touch to
place a call.

Call a Number in a Text Message

While viewing a text message, you can place a call to a
number that is in the body of the message. For more
information, see “Text Messaging (SMS)” on page 118.

to dial the number.

Tip:

You can also call the number from with you received a
text or MMS message. Touch the name at the top of the
conversation and then touch a phone number.
