Starting & Driving

selection of P and R (Reverse) positions from other drive
gears.

Gear Lever Operation

Do not press the lock button during gear
shift, unless necessary.

During gear shift, manipulate the gear lever according to
the instruction indicated by the following arrows:

Gear shift freely.

Gear shift by pressing and holding lock button.

Gear shift by pressing and holding lock button
whilst pressing the foot brake pedal.

IMPORTANT

When the ignition key in Position

Ⅱ

and vehicle is

stationary, if the gear lever in N position last than 2
seconds without depressing the brake pedal, the gear
level is locked in N position to prevent accidental
selection of D (Drive) position.

Depress the brake

pedal, the gear lever in N position lock is released, then
it can be moved to D position.

Gear Lever Position

DO NOT coast in N position and with
egnine-off, otherwise it will seriously damage
the transmission due to no lubrication.
