3. Set up the desired parameters.
The main area of the window is divided into four areas — Phone List,
Environment, Test Setup, and Action. For more information on the parameters,
see the corresponding sections below.
4. Connect the 925VST to your computer via an RS-232 cable.
Read the Serial Port section on page 15 for more information on the correct
settings.
5. Select the appropriate port from the pop-up menu in the upper right corner of the
application window.
6. Select the desired Action.
For more information on the actions, see the corresponding section below.
7. Click GO in the bottom center of the application window.

IST
In the Phone List area, you can specify up to nine phone numbers. These are the phone
numbers of farend responders that the 925VST calls to conduct tests. Each phone number
can have up to 18 digits.
For each phone number, you must designate the following items:
•
Register number — a number from 1 to 9 that identifies the particular phone number
•
Number — the phone number connected to a farend responder to be used for testing
•
Name — a name you specify to identify the phone number
•
Test — what test this number is used for; select a test from the pop-up menu
