2. If you want to choose an alternate directory, click “Set Directory”.
3. Click “Finish”.
To launch the application, double-click the vstTemplate icon. Each application screen
corresponds to a test type.
To create a template:
1. Click the tab for the test you want to run.
2. Click the radio buttons to toggle each subtest on or off as desired.
To change the parameters, you can type in new text or use the arrows to scroll
up and down.
To exclude all of the subtests, click “Exclude All”.
3. Enter the acceptable parameters for the desired tests.
4. Click “Create Template”.
5. Enter a unique name for the template, and click “Save”.
The screens for each test are described in the following sections.
To download a template to the 925VST:
1. Connect the RS-232 cable to the 925VST and the computer.
2. Choose the appropriate port number from the Com Port pop-up menu in the
lower right corner of the 925VST Template UI application window.
3. Turn on the 925VST.
4. Ensure that the following settings are selected:
• 38400 bps
• 8 data bits
• no parity
5. Click “Download Template” in the lower right side of the 925VST Template UI
application window.
6. Click the desired template in the file selection window, then click “Select”.
If the file transfer is successful, a message will show whether the template is enabled or
disabled. To enable or disable a template, see Template on page 15.
